Textile Selection Checklist:

[] Suitable weight for the function
[] Appropriate color
[] Appropriate pattern (and pattern size) in relation to other textiles
[] Appropriate texture
[] Appropriate durability(includes wear-resistance , soil resistance, ease of cleaning, ease of repair, and ease of replacement)
[] Will not shrink or stretch inappropriately after cleaning
[] Can be worked (generally stitched) into the form it will be used in
[] Will not color fade too quickly for it’s location
[] Suits the budget, both for initial cost and lifetime cost
